These terms apply when you use passpointlearning.com or buy a course from Pass Point Learning, a trade name of Net Strategies, LLC ("we", "us"). By buying a course you agree to them.
What you're buying
Each course is an online, self-study insurance pre-licensing course for one line of authority, approved by the Ohio Department of Insurance (provider #12420). Your purchase includes the course materials, quizzes, the final course exam and, when you pass, a completion certificate. Prices are shown on our Ohio page and at checkout.
Your account and access
Courses are delivered through our learning platform at passpoint.learnworlds.com. Your access does not expire. Keep your login private. Your course is for you only and may not be shared, resold or copied.
Ohio requirements
- Before you begin, you'll complete a short registration form. Ohio requires us to collect it.
- You must complete the course before taking the final course exam, and score at least 70% to pass.
- You'll sign an affidavit stating that you completed the exam without assistance. Giving false information can lead to denial or revocation of an insurance license.
- Your completion certificate is valid for 180 days. You need to pass the state licensing exam within that time.
- We report course completions to the Ohio Department of Insurance as the rules require.
No guarantee of results
Our courses prepare you for the state exam, but we can't promise you will pass it or be licensed. Licensing decisions are made by the state.
Payments and refunds
Payment is taken at checkout through our payment processor. Refunds follow our refund policy. State exam fees and license fees are paid to the state or its testing vendor, not to us.
Fair use of the course
Please don't attempt to get around course rules or timers, share exam questions, or use the site in a way that harms it or other students. We may suspend access for misuse.
Changes
We may update course content to keep it accurate and current, and we may update these terms. The version posted here applies to purchases made after it is posted.
