Privacy policy

This policy explains what information Pass Point Learning (a trade name of Net Strategies, LLC) collects, why, and who we share it with. We do not sell your personal information.

What we collect

  • Account details: your name and email address when you create an account or buy a course.
  • Ohio registration details: the information Ohio requires before you start, such as the last 4 digits of your Social Security number, date of birth, home address and phone number. We never ask for your full Social Security number.
  • Course records: your progress, quiz and exam scores, your signed affidavit, and your completion certificate.
  • Payment details: handled by our payment processor. We don't see or store your full card number.
  • Messages and sign-ups: anything you send us by email, and your email address if you ask to be notified when a new state launches.

How we use it

  • To give you access to your course and issue your completion certificate.
  • To meet Ohio Department of Insurance requirements, including reporting your course completion.
  • To answer your questions and send course-related emails.

Who we share it with

  • The Ohio Department of Insurance: we report students who complete a course (for example name, last 4 of SSN and phone), and our records are subject to its audits.
  • Service providers who run parts of our business for us: our learning platform (LearnWorlds), payment processing (Stripe), website hosting (Netlify) and email (Google Workspace). They may use your information only to provide those services.
  • When required by law.

How long we keep it

Ohio requires us to keep registration forms, affidavits, scores, certificates and payment records for at least 4 years. We keep them securely for that period.

Cookies

This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. Our learning platform uses cookies needed to keep you logged in and save your progress.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete information we aren't required to keep. Email admin@passpointlearning.com.
